There is much evidence to suggest that being active, keeping fit and exercising will have a positive impact on recovery from cancer and also potentially reduce the risk of recurrence. Taking part in some form of physical activity will improve overall fitness and increase mental positivity; it can be sociable with opportunities to meet and make new friendships. In short… it can just make you feel good!

YouCan have linked with Kent Sport to be able to offer the opportunity for young people to try out a new activity by offering free introductory programmes in a range of different sports.

YouCan have a YouCan running group and Boot Camp in East Malling, Kent. This is a chance for people impacted by cancer to get back into exercise gently amongst people who understand in a supportive environment.
