Sport and Fitness 2017

There is much evidence to suggest that being active, keeping fit and exercising will have a positive impact on recovery from cancer and also potentially reduce the risk of recurrence. Taking part in some form of physical activity will improve overall fitness and increase mental positivity; it can be sociable with opportunities to meet and make new friendships 2017

YouCan Programme

We are soon to be launching our 12 week YouCan programme including exercise and emotional support to help regain confidence after cancer treatment. The YouCan programme is individually tailored to your needs and you will have full support from specialised professionals and the YouCan Team throughout. We are also having an App created to keep up to date with your progress, with advice, support and information about YouCan.

Boot Camp

YouCan run a Boot Camp in East Malling, Kent, every Tuesday evening. This is a chance for people impacted by cancer to get back into exercise gently amongst people who understand in a supportive environment.

Kent Sport

YouCan have also linked with Kent Sport to be able to offer the opportunity for young people to try out a new activity by offering free introductory programmes in a range of different sports, such as Boxing, Cricket, Badminton, Baseball, and American Football.
